I've seen two people declare that they have finished reposting their material from Cohost to Dreamwidth. Are you finished? Comment below with your accomplishment in case folks are trying to follow the reposts.

Far from finished — I'm doing a slower pace than others, but I expect to be mixing old and new le mot justes for a good six months at least, given over thirty essays and one each thursday for "le mot juste jeudi".

That's fine, do what works for you.

Do you have your Cohost download, or otherwise have your content backed up elsenet? The site is scheduled to disappear at the end of 2024, but realistically could do so anytime.

Thanks for checking! I've got my official download, but I also did a manual backup of each of the big series I posted on my blog (le mot juste, design diaries for Princeton: Bluff Version, Royce Bracket Tuesdays essays on Supergiant's Transistor) in both raw text and original formatting, before the official downloads came out, just in case something shuttered the site sooner than Oct 1st.
