Crossposting is when you take the same thing and put it in multiple places, with maybe a few little tweaks, like making a post on your blog and and in a community. People commonly crosspost to several places when advertising an event. I made an advertising post for newcomers, then used that text to advertise it in my blog too. It's a good way to save energy.

Right now, the holiday fests are just gearing up, for Halloween through Christmas. Definitely watch for snowflake_challenge in January and Three Weeks for Dreamwidth (April 25-May 15).

They are! I love fish and aquariums, too. Betta fish being my favorite. She's such a sweetie.

*bow, flourish* Happy to be of service. The more people know about crossposting, the more likely communities will survive instead of dying out. It lets you activate multiple communities with very little extra effort.
