Hello everyone!
Date: Mar. 18th, 2026 12:31 am (UTC)About You
Username:
Your other online venues:
Your approximate location (e.g. city, state, country, and/or bioregion): I'm in CET timezone wise (and I have a pretty terrible sleep schedule sometimes
Any other important personal details you want to share: I am in general bad with social cues, if there's a manual or any guidelines I'll follow them, but I'll probably miss sarcasm and conversational subtext often
Your Interests and Activities
What languages do you speak?
I speak Spanish, English, and French more or less fluently (my horrible accent in one of these notwithstanding), and I can read and understand Italian and Portuguese to an extent (and I can hold a broken conversation if the person in front of me is patient). I can also read and speak some very very basic Japanese (slowly, but I do manage).
What are some of your favorite hobbies?
Writing, cooking/baking, sewing, over analyzing things, and reading
What television shows and movies do you like?
And suddenly I've forgotten anything I've ever watched in my life. Most things fantasy or historical will hold my attention, and I also really love anything animation (this one is my brother's fault). I also love a good classic mystery. (Sci-Fi is also good, but I'm very bad with math so I end up getting very confused if there's a lot of it). For concrete examples: BBC Merlin, Downton Abbey, Crimson Peak, Star Wars, the Knives Out series, the TVDU, El Ministerio del Tiempo... (There's more but we'd be here all day)What books or other written fandoms are you into?
Mostly the same as above, fantasy or period pieces of any sort are always going to interest me, bonus points if they're about stories themselves in one way or another. I've read too many books to list but here's my all time favorites: ASOIAF, The Kingkiller Chronicle, La casa de los espiritus, Cuando el hombre es su palabra, and anything Austen and Tolkien
Do you have pets or livestock, and if so, what kinds? Do you watch wildlife?
I've got a dog!! And I do get to watch a lot of birds where I live (though I can't identify any of them beyond magpies and turtldoves)
Do you enjoy gardening or houseplants, and if so, what kinds?
I'm genuinely terrible at gardening but I do have a patch of strawberries that has been refusing to die for five years if that counts for something
About Your Blog
What is your Dreamwidth blog like?
So far I'm mostly trying to crosspost and archive stuff from my Tumblr, but it'll likely be a mix of fic, meta/headcanon type ramblings, and me occasionally losing my mind over something.
What is your blog metaphor?
You know those second hand bookstores that have stacks and stacks of books instead of shelves and somehow the owner still knows where everything is? That's what I'm hoping for
How active is it?
I'm going to try and be relatively active once I get the hang of things!
How do you feel about crossposting?
I'll probably be doing it often between my tumblr and maybe also AO3 so I guess positively!
Is your blog more text-heavy or image-heavy?
I am not a visual person at all and I am literally incapable of shutting up so it's going to be a lot of text
Is your blog more personal, professional, topical, or a mix?
Personal and topical I would say (I'm guessing fandom stuff would be covered by topical right?)
Is it all open, all friendslocked, or somewhere in between?
So far it's open but I'm just starting out! We'll see how it goes
What kinds of friends would you like to attract to your blog?
I'm always down to have a good conversation so people who like to talk/write about their interests as well!!
Do you participate in creative bingo, fests, challenges, memes, holiday festivities, or other blogging events? If so, what are some of your favorite ones?
I've participated in events before on other sites and they were fun, so if I get the courage to join in on here sure!
What are your policies on friending and granting access, if any?
I don't have anything locked right now, but I'll probably only grant access if we've talked before and I feel like I know you a little at least
Your Blog-reading Habits
How often do you check your friends feed?
If we're friends I'm probably popping by once a day or so at least to catch up
About how much time do you spend reading blogs?
More if I don't have my own stuff to work on so it does fluctuate (also depends on how busy I am offline)
How active do you like a blog to be?
I don't think I have a preference, though I might miss stuff if there's a big time gap in between (a few months or so)
What kinds of blogs or topics do you most enjoy reading?
Meta and headcanons are great and I also just love to read people's thoughts!!
(For the last two questions I haven't been on here long enough but I'm looking forward to meeting people!)

There are lots of Tumblr tutorials and other posts here.

Here's my March Meta post. It's a lot, so you might save that for when you've got spare time to binge on meta.

This is very good to know!! I'll be sure to go poke around in there!

And I'll be checking these out as well!! I'm nowhere near an expert in these things but it sounds fun!

Someone was super kind and pointed me in the way of those tutorials pretty much on the first day so I've seen (and been using, they're really lifesaving) some of those and I've got them bookmarked in my laptop.
And I'll definitely go and see about the Full Content thing! It sounds like a good idea so thank you!!

Thank you <3<3 And yours sounds so cool!! My uncle had a situation like that when I was growing up and whenever he had people over but was still trying to work he'd wheel over with the desk chair in between. It always looked that the perfect mix of fun and efficient
>>See [community profile] fandomcalendar. Right now [community profile] marchmetamatterschallenge is running, so if you've got meta to port over, check in there to share your accomplishments and find other meta fans.<<
I have been eyeing the Meta Challenge, I'm just a little intimidated since I'd be jumping in late (and it seems that archived meta needs to go somewhere that's not DW? So since I'm crossposting/archiving and not writing anything new right now, I'm not sure if that applies)
>>Here's my March Meta post. It's a lot, so you might save that for when you've got spare time to binge on meta.<<
You've written so much this is so cool!!! I'll definitely work my way through it! (And you've got meta about fandom?? That's awesome!!)
