November Monthly Post
What are your planned projects for blogging in November? What did you accomplish on Dreamwidth during October?
It has been one month since Cohost went read-only on October 1. There are still two months left until Cohost vanishes completely at the end of 2024. So you have that much time to finish archiving your content or transferring it from Cohost to other venues, if you wish to do so. Are you finished reposting? Several folks have, and that post gives you a place to announce it when you do.

Anyways, I hope the Cohost folks who came over here are settling in nicely! Kudos for keeping the door open for so many years. It's really valuable to see you are still cheering people on on Dreamwidth. Thanks!
Yay!
That's good to hear.

So far, some of them seem to be sticking around and posting things, which is really nice. They've brought in some interesting concepts -- check out

That's okay. Work at your own pace; good practice makes good progress.
>> and my film theory skills have rusted greatly since my college years.<<
Analysis isn't a hard skill to refresh. There are plenty of materials online for free, and just doing the work should bring it back pretty quick. It's your blog, nobody's going to fuss at you if it's not perfect right away.

With all of that said, uh…hi all.👋 I wish you lot luck in turn.
Welcome!
Go you!
>> I’m chockful of ideas for stuff that I’ve been meaning to put in this sort of format for a while now, so I’m gonna just try to get to grips with both getting a workflow through HTML and getting an audience on the other side. (Hence why I joined/subscribed here.) <<
There are loads of resources here. The "Cohost Is Closing" post has a section on Dreamwidth code.

Today I'm doing my monthly Poetry Fishbowl on a theme of "Healthy Touch & Nonsexual Intimacy." I invite you to drop by and watch the fun, maybe leave me a prompt if you like the topic.
